Like history you can hold in our hand (and own)? Check out our sister project, American Objects. A company we founded almost 15 years that focuses on finding, sharing and selling pieces of American history as well as supporting American manufacturing and making unique objects by hand in a workshop housed in a building built in 1776! We are always looking for old objects, so also feel free to reach out if you have anything you might want to sell or donate!
Historic New England is one of the most comprehensive independent preservation organizations in the United States. We welcome the public to thirty-eight exceptional museums and landscapes, operate a major collections and archives center, and protect 127 privately owned historic properties in the region through a preservation easement program. I am personally a member of Historic New England. It's an incredible existing resource.
2026 marks the 250th anniversary of American becoming a country! A year full of history as the Declaration of Independence was signed, the right for Independence began, and world history was changed forever. There are kinds of great events going on all around New England's historic sites. Check out the official America 250 website and keep an eye on the website here and social media to see how Old New England is getting involved!
